The British monarch must be one of the most overpaid voice actors in the world. KC3 must read anything put in front of him, and he is not supposed to show approval or disapproval. Unlike QE2, we know Charles has many strong opinions. I think most of the Labour program, especially the attention to environmental protection, is pleasant reading for KC3.

As an American, I like the idea of having a nonpartisan representation of the State that gives the country a sense of history. We have nothing like this. Every politician we have is automatically hated and wanted to be replaced by slightly less than half the population at hello
Of course our primary system is also completely broken, I hesitate to even call that an election now its more of a party appointment... so we're frequently left with two (and only two) barely tolerable choices for President, and have to pick the one we fear the least.

I dont understand the "royalty" thing. Why is a person considered automatically better than everyone else within their country as soon as they are born? Seems like status like that should be earned through achievements and not given only because of who your mom and dad are.
