King's Speech sets out UK government priorities | BBC News

King Charles III has delivered the King's Speech at the State Opening of Parliament, in London.

In a speech written by the newly-elected Labour government, the King announced draft laws including plans on nationalising the railways, renewable energy, housing and planning.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the plans will "take the brakes off Britain”.

He doesn’t care about the people living under the poverty line, while sitting there with all that bling and never worked a day in his life.
I used to be a loyal royalist and now being an ex pat living in the US I believe the UK should abolish the monarchy and the tax payers money can go elsewhere where where it counts
