Bronchitis is an inflammation of the air passages between the nose and the lungs, including the windpipe or trachea and the larger air tubes of the lung that bring air in from the trachea (bronchi). Bronchitis can either be of brief duration (acute) or have a long course (chronic). Acute bronchitis is usually caused by a viral infection, but can also be caused by a bacterial infection and can heal without complications. Chronic bronchitis is a sign of serious lung disease that may be slowed but cannot be cured.

For me the condition gets worse at night and in the cold season it's just a matter of one week before it goes away but sometimes when it gets worse I vomit due to the coughing

Guys if you have bronchitis PLEASE try this natural remedy!!! It literally worked for me!! It works in 2 weeks to a month! Here it is:
Take a cup of thyme tea add 1/2 tsp of each ginger powder, clove powder, and black pepper finally add a small amount of honey mix well drink this twice daily

For those who have bronchitis, does your throat itch when you breathe through your nose to? For some reason every two or three hours the side of my throat would start itching like crazy when I’m breathing through my nose and I would cough like heck sometimes even to the point of throwing up 😕 I would be coughing and spitting out white clear phlegm for the next 5-10 minutes to. Don’t know if it’s allergies that I’m having or bronchitis because even when I’m indoor it still happens. It affects my daily life a lot 😭

Hi I was sick with bronchitis all week and I went to the doctor to go on an antibiotic which I had to take 3 times a day for a week. Sadly I’m sick again and finding it difficult to breathe. Should I go back to the doctor again? And why wouldn’t the antibiotic work the first time thanks!

I almost always end up with a bronchitis during the colder months. Sometimes it's not that bad however the latest one lasted for good a month. And first my doctor gave me three antibiotics to help cure it...it didn't rly help. When I went to him again he descriped me more antibiotics and this time an inhaler. That did the trick.

I had an opperation in 2017 in recovery the nurse said i can hear you breathing i just said oh good tell me if you cant, i started coughing soon after leaving the hospital i checked in with my doctor regular about the cough nothing happened today nearly 2 and a half years later after i hounded him he said you have bronchitis im looking at alternative medicen im nearly eighty and dont trust doctors who only dish out drugs,

I get it in month of April, Persistent cough for 1-2 weeks, chest tightness, wheezing, Symptoms lasts 15 days, Weakness for almost 20 days and then it goes away.
Drinking too much water won't help as when your stomach gets full you start to wheeze and cough more, humidifier and vaporizers helps for 3-4 hours, you have to take them once every 4-5 hours.
