Riding A Honda CBR1000RR: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Ride and Review

👋 In today's video I take out a 2017 CBR1000RR for the first time! This is a very sweet bike with a lot of technology in the screen which is a good size for seeing it while riding. The color combo is on point and I love the riding position! This is a fast bike, compared to my 600cc, it gets up and goes and even will put you back in the seat if you really get on it! The weight of the bike feels fine and with so many different riding modes, you can set this bike up for the track or mountain roads and definitely have a lot of fun! Huge thanks to FNA_Speed for letting take their bike out, definitely check out their YouTube and Instagram! They have a 1000HP Trackhawk and a ZL1 as well!

You still can't shift after several years of riding???

Slipping the clutch nearly every gear shift, calling engine braking “electronic braking” lol and not once did you actually get into the upper rev range to actually feel or show us the power of this thing.

Smfh why is nearly every youtube bike reviewer like this

I’ve never seen a bike review, it’s nice to see something different.

What's with the short shifting and slipping the clutch? Put the bike in 2nd gear and fully pull back the throttle until it hits the red line you'll be doing well over 100mph! At the moment you're not touching anywhere near the 189bhp riding like you do.

You don't have to shift a 600 that much bro let alone a 1000

This is the type of videos I really enjoy...a true commute review of a litter bike without going over track info and bla bla bla..like if an average person wants to buy a Honda cbrr1000, how would it be? excellent job guys!!!

Why does only one light, light up when the high beam is on?

I own a 17' in matte black with ABS. I've owned a lot of bikes over the years and several sport bikes. This bike is probably the most refined and comfortable sport bike for the street around. It has great ergos and I'm 57 years old. Of course Honda quality and great fit & finish.

The test at 6:30 - The "1"s on the screen are MAXIMUM potency. By moving the mode to the larger numbers, you neutered the bike.

I thought Mode 3 is the least power? Then mode 2 and then mode 1 as the most power.

It’s 2023 and this is still a good video review since the CBR1000RR hasn’t changed. I’m on the fence between the CBR, R1, and RSV4. The smarter decision for me would be to go with the CBR1000RR since I’m 5’8” and the bike will do best in the twisties in my region. It would be my daily commuter also. I like the other two but I’m hesitant trying to move them around with the taller seat heights in my hilly environment, hilly driveway and hills at work. Lol

I got the 2011 red rocket cbr 1000rr and it was a little tame in its stock form. I got 8k miles on it. I got full yoshi exhaust, ecu tune on actual dyno rack, installed custom head with bored polished cylinders with oversizzed piston and rings. It dyoed at 193 hp at the rear tire. Shes fast now and in 4 gears you blimp the throttle and the front will come up, did I mention I installed a rev pro throttle and I absolutley love that thing, along wwith the healtech quickshifter. Shes a fun bike but I really like the aprilia rs 660. ANyone who can comment between the two bikes from experience.

Why does everyone who gets on a cbr say the power settings backwards 1 is the highest setting for power. Everyone puts the bike in the lowest power setting and says its fast like that...
