Hi! Can you please clarify the following situation :
I am working on a PGWP, and it is about to expire. If me and my employer are both in favor of me keeping that job, does the employer need to get an LMIA for me to get work permit and retain the same position in the same job? Or I can simply apply for a work permit without LMIA because I already have that job.

Hi Jade, nice for your video. What can someone on a closed work permit do when the current close work permit is about to expire, he has AOR for non-express entry PR application, but the employer is not willing to give new job offer letter to apply for work permit extension.

This means that government will not give an extension for cec profile candidates and their workpermit is expiring . LMIA is not an option for many they know how the employers might treat people in pnp and lmia and all those money and struggle involved in getting a PR to work in canada, …
