I disagree with Jordan Peterson on many things, but his thesis on the origins of religion is something that I feel resonates. Strange thing is, in his mind, he will go on about the purely natural and evolutionary beginnings and utility of religion, its motifs and archetypes, and then proclaim belief in Jesus is therefore justified. It’s like watching a magic show in Vegas, and then your mate tells you in great detail how the illusionist did all the tricks, and then he claims this is why he believes in magic. Bizarre.

It's crazy how most people rely on religion to give their lives "meaning and value."
Our emotional experiences only have the meaning WE GIVE THEM.

It is sunday today here in the philippines.i walked out of our church to check my phone and saw this yt notification of RR.never clicked that fast.my parents are religious my father is a pastor, every sunday i play keys on our church.im an atheist and it is so hard for me to do this.i would like thank RR, cosmic skeptic, GMS for opening my eyes and always comforting me with these informative videos.
