Yeah this is a good tip cuz I sometimes take my hand as my hand reference and it really works!

I use clip studio and I’ve gotten used to posing the 3D models for all my poses, it’s been so helpful especially when I’m doing really dynamic poses

So real! Last time I made an animation I took a video of myself and split it up in the frames I needed. Super helpful to get the movement to look natural because you don’t have to think as hard about the single poses!!

This has helped me so much 90% of the time. Unfortunately the other 10% are like a character leaping through the air while swinging a weapon that doesn’t exist and all shot from a birds eye view or some nonsense. If anyone knows how to figure out poses like that I am all ears

I am planning on making a series one day on youtube, and i thought that sometimes i would use some 3d software like source filmmaker and then copy it as a drawing, good to see someone has a similar idea as me❤

There are some pose apps and sites where you can make pose (on pc i use mmd (you need to find right model) and on phone i use easy pose, and maybe they are more stylised, but still more helpful)
