A set of tweets by President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, directed at China, spooked markets on Monday causing a plunge. Trump said that trade deal talks between the two countries were progressing 'too slowly', so he had decided to hike tariffs on Chinese goods. A similar tariff war last year had abated after the leaders of the two nations met in November 2018 and agreed to a truce. A fresh trade war between Washington and Beijing does not bode well for India, especially in the current global economic environment, and the prospect of a sharp spike in crude oil prices. Each side compromise a little for a win win. Easy. Identify items to be negotiated. If China refuses to compromise at all, tariff the sht out of them. Worth it. Boycott everything made in China. Huge opportunity for US business to grow.

A lot of smaller countries are starting to produce goods.
It is cheaper there than it is in China.
