Money is power and, in a free market economy, money flows to people who provide a desired good or service and those who operate a business well will grow that business and run it prudently. So, a person who has wealth and holds on to it for some time is generally considered to be wise. Of course this is not always the case, but it is a reasonable supposition because, in a free market economy, having wealth is essentially a stamp of approval by society.

Some people have power and you wouldn’t know it. Just as some people have money and you wouldn’t even know it. The negative characteristics we associate with power and money, we only attribute due to those that wield them poorly.

It is a shame that people see money as power and success. Educated people know how to be very powerful and successful in whatever they focus on, good or bad.
