People just don’t realize how great of a drummer she really was. We won’t get into that amazing voice. There are many videos showing the technical precision of her voice. A truly amazing woman.

Karen, a phenomenon on the drums and her peculiar voice. It's a shame he left us so soon. her extraordinary talent on the drums already mastered complex techniques such as the 5/4 time signature, imaginable for a woman at the time and even today.

She was a fantastic drummer, and she had complete vocal perfection! She was obviously multi talented! And it makes me sad to say that she had complete, vocal perfection, because that means it was in the past. She had the most amazing kind, compassionate and loving heart. It makes me sick that she married a man, who was mentally and emotionally abusive of her, he would call her, “a bag of bones“ at the same time that he was dipping into all of her money and spending it without a second thought of how evil he he was treating her. It makes me even more absolutely sick at how unloving her mother treated her. Their mother was cold and unkind to Karen, yet she favored Richard and it showed. It’s not Richard‘s fault I don’t hold him responsible. I’m thankful for the close relationship that Richard and Karen had Karen and her kind hearted beautiful self along with all of her talents was taken from us way too soon. Karen had the most amazing pure and rich voice filled with such warmth. No other female comes close to her unique sound. The Carpenters will always be a beautiful memory of growing up as a child in the 1970s thank you Richard and Karen for that! I love you! 💜 and Richard, it warms my heart to hear that you and your wife name your last daughter after Karen.🥰
