Thanks for the review, when you were plugging to external devices, were you also able to charge the laptop through the usb c port as well? Or do you need to use their power plug as well? It would be nice to have a one cable solution which includes power delivery

Hi David! An excellent review. I do like Microsoft Surface products as they are well-made devices. But I'm going to wait for the Surface Laptop 8? when it invariably comes out, with the new AMD chips and/or a version with Intel's Lunar Lake chips. This negates the compatibility issues entirely. These Qualcomm chips are perfect for someone with light usage demands who wants good battery life. But a $649 new Mac-book Air M1 from Walmart might be just as good, with folks saving some money as well.
