Just to see their aim with the two screens on a phone versus how Samsung and Huawei are going about it.
And to also see what the Surface Neo would offer compared to the already existent Surface Pro line.

My preorder of the Surface Pro X from Microsoft placed the day after the announcement was initially due to arrive on 10/22. That has been changed until 11/05, the date of the full release in all retail stores. Hope that doesn't indicate Microsoft doesn't want any in-depth reviews done until after the initial wave of purchases!

Surface pro 7 is more a computer than a tablet. Surface pro X is more a tablet than a computer. Microsoft finally listen to the crybabies that wanted a surface pro tablet.

Maybe I missed it, but what I didn’t hear was if the X is 100% compatible with Windows 10, be it Pro or Enterprise, as well as ALL apps that can run on the Surface Pro 7. For if that is not true, the choice will be more than just design and price.

Will it run apps smoothly with x86-64 processor requirement like Matlab? Then I want to order immediately.

Whatever I buy I have to have two identical so double the price. Right now I am using Surface Go LTE but Surface Pro X looks inviting. I have read in other reviews it does not support 64-bit Windows apps, only 32-bit is support for now. Nice overview video. A detailed review of the MS Buds and Surface Pro X would be welcome.

My concern is that maybe the ARM processor won't run a lot of Windows programs, this will make the Pro X more like an iPad and has to have custom apps made for it and will be very limited.

Pen storage looks awfully familiar. I do not think it is coincidental that Samsung Tablet S6 and Surface Pro X has the same sort of pouch for the stylus, which means Samsung may introduce theirs soon as well.
