When a Dying Career was SAVED by the NBA Expansion | FPP

Показать описание
Tony Campbell was the Minnesota Timberwolves first Franchise Player. Before Kevin Garnett, Karl Anthony Towns, or Anthony Edwards, Tony Campbell was dropping 20 points a night during the TWolves first years of existence. A first round selection in the legendary 1984 NBA Draft, Campbell's first 5 years were spent mostly on the bench with the Bad Boys Detroit Pistons and Showtime LA Lakers. But When the league expanded, Campbell got one more chance in Minnesota, and became one of the best scorers in the NBA over a three year period. His time with the Timberwolves was his peak, and he never got close to those numbers again; but Tony Campbell's story serves as a great lesson of how hard it is to get opportunity in the NBA, and what you have do when you get it.
