great tutorial. it makes it alot easier when you see what you are truly dealing with. not just text a pics. it's like a whole different layer underneath that you are actually minipulating. great work!

Is there a way to make something float at the top of the page using CSS? The behavior I am asking is similar to what we are seeing on this youtube webpage - menu icon, YouTube logo, search text box, etc are floating at the top of this page, meaning, they continue to appear even when we scroll to the bottom of the page.

Hi you're a wonderful teacher, I've been juggling between your videos and school, but I've been stucked with this video the whole day, I don't seem to get the pattern of what you did I kept trying but it wasn't the same result, I guess it's because I didn't see the html code, may be I made a mistake in relating it to the css, I'm having issues with the div element

Your classes are very helpful but I do have one issue I have not been able to resolve. I have a HTML 5 header tag. Inside of that are 3 DIV's which the two outer will hold graphics and the center one will hold a banner pic and text. I want to center the middle div inside of the header. How can I do this. I am applying Float left and right for the two outer divs and that is working fine but the middle div is hugging the left most div. I have not assigned any margins to the left most or middle div as I am hoping there is a way to tell the middle div to center inside of its parent, which is the header... Hope you can help me out. Thanks... TIm

Is it true that two inline elements, when side by side, will automatically get a margin; while two block elements won't have any margin, when in top-to-down order???
Plz reply....
