If the eye goes right over KSC I hope your cameras there get some good shots. Hopefully it doesn't damage the VAB significantly, don't need more delays from that.

some fun trivial...the doors that are protecting the rocket were built by the ADF Group based in Quebec, Canada. ( they also supplied all the steel for the new World Trade Center).
Back in the 1960's NASA sent some aluminium alloy stock to Heroux Machine Parts., located near Montreal.
The stock was machined and assembled, in sets of four, as landing gears. Six of those sets are, and will be for a long time, on the moon. One set burnt up in mid April 1970,

Roll roll roll your rocket, never gonna fly, back into the bay it goes, delays will multiply.

Between the Apollo, space shuttle and now SLS, NASA keeps reinforcing the VAB to withstand worse hurricanes. Post Apollo it was about reinforcing the foundation anchoring so the building does not get ripped off it's foundation (It's a big kite after all). More recently, the siding was replaced to better withstand hurricane blown debris. It's literally one of the strongest buildings on the planet

SLS is capable of returning to the launch pad just like SpaceX Falcon ... but when SpaceX returns it’s after succeeding, not after failing

Make sure you change the seal before y'all roll it back out. Cause I imagine that rolling it back in, damaged it again. Oh, as much as I felt it might have stayed out, now y'all can check the batteries and take care of some of the nick picking items that need to be taken care of. But please change the seal out before you try to launch it!!

Leave it on the pad. Maybe it'll actually fly.

Here is a dumb question??-why did they not launch days ago when the weather was ok? why did they wait until it was nearly on top of them????

They absolutely could have launched today, Sept 27th!

Virgo is astrology. Virga is rain that doesn't hit the ground.

They should call it Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Add it to NASA’s rocket garden.

My prediction: SLS launches this year, Starship next year. What do you guys think?

Ever see the movie "Marooned" ?
I was hoping they'd launch through the eye of the hurricane !

so silly question but instead of rolling it back why didnt they launch it? if they have time to roll it back then surely they could have launched it into space where it would have been 1 on its way and 2 safe from the storm. now i know the window to launch to the moon may not have lined up but once it is in space you could wait for the window to line up. and even changed the orbit a bit to make it line up earlyer if it would have taken some time. and if thats not possible then doesnt that really show how over priced and under proforming the SLS really is?
