The Roman Empire, arguably the greatest empire of all time by pretty much every metric with hundreds of years of complex and intriguing history. And what do we constantly get churned out? Gladiators and Caesar. Quit trying to tell modern stories with modern themes in historical settings. It’s just silly.

Spartacus aged well, and did so on a cheap budget, Ive rewatched it ten times and remember the entire series. This is something you watch and forget 😂
