Yeupp... "Rome - The Woke Version." Smdh. If you want to watch something that's actually excellent related to the same subject matter, in fact, I think it's quite probably one of the best T.V shows of all time... Just watch the H.B.O. series of Rome.

Read the book in 1958 in one night, then read it again it was that good, will be difficult to make the series even close to the contents of the book. It looks like they did give it a college try though, recommend this courageous attempt also recommend Elvis: The Quest for an Oscar book….
