Today I’m sharing my simple daily cleaning & tidying routine, and walking you through what I do on a daily basis to keep my home tidy, clutter-free, and sparkling clean!

What does your daily cleaning & tidying routine look like? 🤍

Daily:
- vacuum (with two Golden Retrievers I could vacuum even more)
- do the dishes in the evening while the meal is on the stove cooking or in the oven
- wiping down the surfaces in the kitchen

Weekly:
- mopping the floors (but we do this as often as we need. Sometimes every other day)
- deep cleaning the bathrooms
(Toilet gets a clean as often as it needs one)
- dusting
- laundry (I change the bed sheets once a week)

Less than weekly:
- wiping down the kitchen doors and drawers
- cleaning lamps etc.
- cleaning the windows and doors

I hope I didn‘t forget anything.

Ps: I tidy as I go. Sometimes I need to tidy some paper work but we live quite minimalistic so I don‘t have to tidy that much.

I try to do my best to tidy the kitchen and clear surfaces before bed so I wake up to a nice clean kitchen. This is part of my evening routine 😊

I have two kids, and this is my clean routine.

Daily: 1 load of laundry
Dishes
Vacuum
1 Daily “areas” usually done in the evening before starting dinner. Bedrooms, Bathrooms, laundry room, etc.

Our kids are 8 & 5 now so they do dishes everyday after dinner. My husband or I will do the heavier pots and pans and clean the counters for the day when they’re done. Any paper mail we get I deal with right away as I hate paper clutter lol! When the boys take toys out, or change clothes we always make sure they go back into their room with those. And I try to do a load of laundry everyday. Dishes also go straight into the sink so I’m not cleaning behind everyone during the day.

Lately it’s been a whole family effort which is nice. It doesn’t feel so overwhelming when we all pitch in!
