How To Format Sd Card/ USB With Multiple Partitions No Programs Needed

Step 1. Open CMD

Step 2. Open DISKPART

Step 3. Use SELECT DISK # (where # is the Drive).

Step 4. Use CLEAN Command

Step 5. Use CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY

Step 6. Use FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK

Step 7. Use ASSIGN

Thank you so much. I bought a new 1.5tb sd card which I'm trying to get running on my switch and it's causing all sorts of problems. I couldn't do the partition part of this because the volume was too big or something but the rest really help. I can at least access it again now.

what if it was split into two drives? how do I revert it back to just 1 drive?

All it did was clean and format (F) but (G) is still there, so still spit into 2 drives?
