Tip from someone who repairs a lot of tires. I would rotate that tire to the rear. A rear tire blowout is less dangerous than a front steering tire.

I've been driving for 33 years and I always plug mine in tread area only. Never had one fail. But I do use lighter to melt the out side. Some tire shop here in Missouri will not patch if you plugged. Their loss. I'm five years on a plug now. No air loss.

That looks like the modern day equivalent to the Dunlop kit that my dad kept in his van about 55 years ago. The tools were, an awl, a rasp, and a gimlet. Even then, tyre plugs were only meant as a temporary fix, though many folks considered it as permanent - until the plug blew out again!

Yes as someone else said put that tire on the rear. Plug is good at lower speeds otherwise get it patched in the first place unless you need to plug it to get to tire store. Great job. Can you mount a mower deck under that Honda? Mow in air conditioning or in the rain.

I have a 2006 Element. Had valves adjusted to specs last year and it solved idle, warm up and engine stalling issues. Great little vehicle.

Check the Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve on the Honda for the weird idle
