I have been putting together a basic tool kit for auto/home repairs. Bought these today, compared to my dad's old pair of vice grips the 20% reduced handle definitely makes a difference, but until I use them I won't know if the performance is on par with the older ones.

I get the impression that this was a paid endorsement.. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but IMO, you should DISCLOSE, if such, so that viewers can better assess the info you're presenting..

I have these and they're garbage!!! There's no lever inside to release like the old style. I always need to jam a screwdriver inbetween to lever them open.
