My Top 3 reasons for recent Slump:
1. Turnovers/Ball security
2. Running game (Or lack there of)
3. Offensive line/Defensive line
Were allowing teams to apply WAY too much pressure. Also we have Donald and Miller on the same line but you’d never know it these past few games. Games are Won and Lost at the line of scrimmage

O-line played rather well last year. Pretty much the same guys this year. Would like to see an improvement with the push by the linemen (not nasty enough.)
We also don't have a power running game; maybe look for a power back. We need one. No one is just going to lay down for us just because we got Stafford. McVay or whoever is going to call the plays needs to be more creative.

I don't have the film to evaluate the problems. What you say about taking the quick short pass is good if it is there. I can't tell about those overthrows what was really happening. I do think he should not be gun shy about throwing down field. But there is a time and place. The only int's I criticize him for are the 2 in the Titans game when he was in the grasp.

I believe that always looking for the big play downfield is keeping the Rams from getting first downs which leads to three and outs. They also need to run the ball more as well and stop playing not to lose and begin playing to win. Do plays to get the first down so that you can have some ball control on offense. There is nothing wrong with Stafford.
He is a risk taker to a degree and will force the ball at times. That’s a trade off with most great QBs.
Stafford is tough for sure.
The Rams have problem with safety big problem.
The middle of the OL can get over powered and can struggle with stunts.
The WR core is lacking with Woods and Jackson gone. Particularly Woods.
OBJ will come around but it takes time and he was already nicked up against the Packers.
The Special Teams, besides Gay, are a disaster right now.
McVay sees matchups the team should win for big plays and gets greedy.
Sustaining some drives or even first downs to flip field position a few times a game would help the D a great deal.

Where are you getting this several severe injuries Big Game Stafford is playing with, Stafford and McVay both say he is fine Stafford has only showed up on the rams injury report once this year in week 9 if he's getting treatment for an injury the rams are required to report it. So are you saying that the rams are hiding Staffords several severe injury or just not treating them?
