pov: you're studying for finals at your fancy dark academia private school. your academic rival walks into the contained library you're already sat in. The large vaulted ceiling let moon light seep in, reminding you just how long you've been sat there, while also highlighting the angles of their face. Softening what you had always seen as harsh and serious in class. They browse over a tall shelf.
"I was kind of using this room" you say, frustrated your private study space has been interrupted, by them of all people.
"You don't own this library y/n"
"Yes but there's so many others unoccupied at this time, why this one?"
"This is the only space with a piano" they say as they make their way over to an ancient looking grand piano sitting in the corner. You begin gathering up your things. Fine I'll just find another place to study though this library was always your favorite. Your enemy begins playing a soft melody, making you pause. Beautiful, but sad. You sink back into your chair listening to the sweet song. The music stops suddenly, making you start and open your eyes, looking at them. They turn around, looking at you with a soft gaze.
"Maybe I like the company too", they turn around and the music starts up again.
