It's not that surprising that he would want to go back because Jonathan is the Geek in the family and Christopher is the nerd. So while Chistropher moved on for more nerdier projects Jonathan has been picking geekier projects so going back to DC fits his tastes.

It makes sense to me because Christian even said himself that he always believed he didn’t quite nail playing Batman and a lot people think that rise ls is the weakest movie in the trilogy so it would make sense for Christian to get redemption of trying to put out his best version of Batman but also a testament to the writers and directors to see if they can make a better movie from the last one

Would love to see a 4th dark knight film with Christian bale returning as batman & Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robin

The Dark Knight is my favorite movie of all time and The Dark Knight Trilogy is my favorite live action Batman movies of all time. So if Johnathan Nolan were to make a fourth sequel with Christian Bale, I would definitely be on board. Hell, I would even own it on DVD with the first 3 films. The Villian could even be The Riddler or maybe even Black Mask. I think a Christian Bale Batman movie with Black Mask as the main villian would be interesting.

Jonah's directorial debut was an episode of Person of Interest and it was Awesome.
It was a mix of Dark Knight, Heat and Usual Suspects with Ramin Djawadi score 🤯

After Dark Knight Rises, he went on to create Person of Interest. Which with only a small re--write, was Batman!

The thing that I love about the dark knight aside from the fact that it’s my favorite comic book movie ever is the fact that we as fans have to stop tripping over casting of characters until we get a chance to see them. Heath is the definitive example of an actor that almost everybody was just bashing him as the joker simply because he was known for 10 things I hate about you which honestly was a pretty decent movie but just him playing the “ heartthrob” every fan was just getting their panties so twisted it was unbelievable. Then they dropped the trailer and at that point I think a complete 180 was done. Even though we still couldn’t see his actual performance but the trailer showed enough of his look, demeanor, voice and yes…the laugh which all was just so gripping and hooked most people in and then the movie came out and I saw it 4 times in the theater just to see him remove that mask at the end of the opening robbery scene. One of the absolute best moments ever in cinema for me. The way he looked, his subtle eye movements and his voice were stellar but kudos to the score because that deep tone that immediately followed stranger was absolutely adrenaline pushing you into a movie that at that point you just knew was brilliant

Here's All the Batman family of films that we need to be announced Tomorrow:
1. The Dark Knight 4 (Christopher, Jonathan Nolan and Christian Bale along with supporting cast)
2. Batman Beyond starring Michael Keaton as older Batman/Bruce Wayne that retires and trains a Terry McGinnis new Batman in a semi-futuristic setting.--ALSO MUST BRING BACK THE DANNY ELFMAN ICONIC SCORE.
3. The Batman 2 (Matt Reeves/Robert Pattinson)
4. Batman the Brave and the Bold (CAST ANNOUNCEMENT).
5. One final Batfleck Batman to send off the Snderverse/Ben Affleck's Batman, perhaps a showdown with Jared Leto's Joker and someone else?

I'd like to see The Dark Knight Returns, based off the Frank Miller original.

How did John forget ‘Person of interest’ I still think that was one of J Nolan’s best shows

The possibility of new Dark Knight movies by Jonathan, with Bale, would make me more afraid of tarnishing a good legacy rather than excite me.

I think it's room for Jonathan Nola in this DCu, *The Brave and The Bold* should be first a good movie than a comic book movie to make Batman mythical again in the eyes of the people.

If Jonathan is going to do a continuation of the Dark Night trilogy, and he want's to have Christian Bale return as Batman/Bruce Wayne, would Batman Beyond be ob the table?

Jonathan Nolan to handle the Bateman Beyond era.

Only if they payoff Joseph Gordon Levitt Nightwing, but to John's point, DC has tons of different Batmen running congruently with each other. I don't think people are really going to be bothered, especially after they are used to multiverse stuff these days. We technically had 3 in the Flash, Pattinson might show in Penguin, and the Arkham games.

It would be hard for Christopher Nolan to come back to that franchise...I think “The Dark Knight Rises” has been treated as its endpoint, and different Batman stories are being told now...🐱🐰

“Some people often forget there was another Nolan as well… his brother Johnathan Nolan”… I am some people… never heard oh him until this video…

i mean he said he would like to return to gotham, so it could be to tell other stories not necessarily in the Chris Nolan Universe

I don’t know if that’s a good idea. The Dark Knight Rises had a pretty definitive ending for Bruce Wayne with him leaving with Selina Kyle and Gotham believing he’s dead. Another sequel would just undo that happy ending and I don’t think anyone wants that.

The Dark Knight is not just the greatest Batman movie of all time, The Dark Knight is not just the greatest superhero movie of all time… The Dark Knight is the greatest movie of all time, nothing even comes close, it is undeniable
