My grandma was a product of rape. She was my great grandmas only child. My great grandma was quite young when she had her, 13 or 14. Grandma was raised by her grandparents and developed a relationship with her mother later in life. I am thankful for my great grandmother that she had my grandma. My grandma was a wonderful woman who had 8 children, 20+grandchildren, 20+great grandchildren and now there are a bunch of great great grands. She passed 2 years ago but left behind a huge legacy. An entire huge family wouldn't be here without her one life.

My mom chose life for me too. She cane from a poor family, my biological dad did not want her to have me and left her, my grandma also said ending the pregnancy should be considered, and my mom was taking community college classes trying to eventually get a better job. She chose life and now I have an amazing husband and 4 kids.

My mom wanted me desperately. And then she died and I was raised in foster care. You can never predict how someone’s life will turn out. I’m a very happy person and a good mom and I thank God for my beautiful life.

Keep telling this story! I was nearly aborted but my twin saved my life, child of the foster care system, and a victim of abuse/neglect but it is so worth it to hold my child.

My 5th pregnancy was high risk, my child was born with an apgar score of zero, and I nearly died myself. Because his father begged me to choose life, i did. We have a beautiful two year old, and all of our lives are better with him in it. Because of this, I'm now pro life. Thank you for sharing this, it means so much to me to hear these stories

I hate that argument as well "they may grow up poor or be in an abusive situation, etc". Well, my husband wouldn't have two beautiful children if their "compassionate" reasoning and response had been applied to him.
