So cool. As a professional firefighter, I once had a little boy run up to me on the street in my city and give me a hug. The little boy said I’m so happy to see you and your not a cop. Concerned, I ask him why? He said cops are mean and scary, and they might shoot him. This statement from the little boy literally brought tears to my eyes! To think that this little innocent boy felt that way. I went on To comfort him and explain to him how there are many good people out their who are police officers. They are there to help and do their best. To this day, this encounter haunts me. That a little 5 year old boy would have those thoughts. Stories like this one, with this little boy and officer are priceless. There’s sooo many good stories like this out there. I hope to see more. Thank you, officer sooo much.
