I have this phobia and it’s more about speaking in front of big groups of people, like public speaking- but for some others with this phobia they’re also scared of talking in friend groups- but it’s alright cause you represented it well!

My friend has glossophobia. Whenever he and I were in 7th and 8th grade, he wouldn't speak AT ALL. I begged him to speak, but he wouldn't do it. He was a quiet kid, never speaking at all. Even the teachers knew he never spoke. One day though, he finally spoke one word for me, and I cried. It made me so happy. I didn't ask him to speak because I kind of gave up, but he spoke and I genuinely felt happy that he worked up the courage to talk in front of me. <3

Yo- i have this fear. It actually means fear of public speaking not just speaking in general though. My throat gets clogged up when i try to speak in front of lots of people.
