It's extremely difficult to animate guitar playing imo because hands are one of the hardest things to draw. And the more you have to move them obv the more frames you have to get right. I don't mind it too much in animation but its really cool when they pull off stuff like this

Aww, man, we wanted the drunken bassist!! So sad. She's actually pretty good. The thing about Bocchi is that the playing animations are mo-capped. So the finger movements are actually accurate.
