How to Make FULL Art MTG Proxies Step by Step

In this video I'll show you from start to finish, step by step how to make and design your own proxy to use for your collection! As I state in the video these proxies are not meant to be SOLD and will NOT pass for the real cards. The proxies are meant to represent cards I own so that I can have the card in multiple decks and also keep expensive cards safe from getting stolen.

Not only will this video show you how to design your own Proxy using Photoshop but I also show alternate ways you can find and make proxies if you don't have have Photoshop. You can also use these techniques to make proxies of other card games like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! This will help you save money and keep your expensive cards safe by using a Proxy that actually looks good to play with (secretly I like my proxy art better than the original art ;) I hope you enjoy!

Bought an Scroll Rack some days ago for almost USD 60 (wich is a lot of money here in Brazil), and you just gave me the solution on how to use it in two of my EDH decks without keep changing sleeves or just buying another one of it. Thanks!

I"ve had a lot of luck with spray glue, mist over the card and place the pre-cut proxy on top. Great tutorial on how to make a full art! Thanks

i just print them on matte vinyl sticker paper and stick it onto 305 cardstock, then trim with good scissors. also works with foil or prism sicker paper.

Love the video, can't wait to use proxies like this in my casual games. I'm part of a casual play group where we meet regularly to test out deck ideas from all formats. I told some of the other members about your podcast, and they're enjoying it. I think that using proxies will really help our testing, because not only we can make more decks at one time now, but also because it will help us become more familiar with the cards, and learn which cards may be better investments.

I am not sure what magic brush you are using but the one i see on the current version just highlights a box and wont let me highlight more than one box at a time

Which version of photoshop is it exactly? It looks much simpler and i think it would be better for me than the normal one
