Did I just ruin a classic or make a cool new surfboard?

This board was given to me by my uncle about 15 years ago, and it's actually one of the boards I learned to surf on. Even though this surfboard has sentimental value, I stopped riding it a long time ago as the shape is pretty outdated. I decided to give her a new lease on life. That’s just awesome! I did the same thing once to a old board, stripped it down and reshaped it a little and glassed it back up with the same fins, didn’t look as nice as yours, but my daughter rides it now…great video, thanks for showing it!

Don't sweat the thought of "ruining a classic" because in time, this entire planet will be microscopic particles of space dust, then reformed into another planet, and other creatures, or possible a sun. Excellent. Makes me think more about a No Work Team 6'4" Tri Thruster I'd like to repair and repurpose for my daughter over the next few years. Will have to do some research on dimensions/shape etc...

Tip: Glue foam with foam. I use two part foam to glue either EPS or Poly foam or just the two part by itself to fill large voids
