Ice cream cones are a fast-food staple. You can't necessarily get one at every drive-thru window you happen to pass by, but there's a pretty good chance. They're the perfect quick-service dessert: portable, tasty, texturally diverse, easy to make, and probably most importantly, cheap.

Almost every fast-food cone checks all those boxes, but the level of tastiness can vary pretty wildly. Where can you go to get a frozen treat that'll give you the biggest bank for your buck? Not that it was a huge chore, but we tried just about all of them and ranked these fast-food ice cream cones from worst to best. Try to finish the video before heading out to get one.

Seriously, when you’re at Mickey D’s, stick with McFlurries—they’re far and away better than the basic cone.

And @ A&W’s, stick with the root beer float—or better yet, their milkshakes!

I knew that DQ would be #1 and I didn't know that Checkers had soft serve, let alone strawberry. I've disliked strawberry ice cream my whole life because when you eat a fresh strawberry and taste strawberry ice cream side by side, the strawberry ice cream generally has an either chemical or a too heavy of a milky flavor that doesn't really pair well with strawberry in my opinion. I prefer strawberry slush or shaved ice personally.

when the blizzard became popular, dairy queen changed the formula of their soft serve mix to make it cheaper and turned up the temperature on their machines to make it easier to mix, so now their product tastes like crap unless you mix it with candy or cookie crumbs. and it's really expensive, you can get a better vanilla cone at mcdonalds for half the price of dq's crap.

I was worried there for a second that they weren’t even going to mention dq. When I was a kid, I used to love to go in and not only get their blizzards, but also their vanilla ice cream cone topped with these crunchy things. I don’t even know what it was called other than crunchy pieces. They had this thing that they would swirl them in. I don’t even know how to describe it.
I also love their twist cones as well. Since I live in the Midwest, we have dq all over the place. Love their ice cream.

Korh’s on the Jersey shore boardwalk at Seaside was my favorite! A swirl of vanilla and chocolate soft serve covered with sprinkles! Yum!
