I’ve always wondered why we act like the perfect environment/oxygen/water needs to exist in order to sustain “life” on other planets. That is how WE sustain our life. The definition of life itself is a human construct. What if other forms of beings do not need the same things we need to survive?

When your talking about life on another planet and you say "They would HAVE TO" anything you've already fell back into a limited, arrogant & human way of thinking. Remember when they used to say "EVERYTHING HAS TO HAVE SUNLIGHT AND OXYGEN TO LIVE" then they found life living in thermal vents at the bottom of the ocean in extreme heat and where there neither sunlight or oxygen? People are so arrogant even when their not trying to be. And ignorant when they think they know.

The real question is that wouldn't these metal aliens or inorganic life forms ( if they exist and are visiting Earth or our Solar system ) be more interested in Venus or some hell like that which receives more energy from the sun and no need to terraform?

Hasn’t nature alone taught us that life can exist in places you’d never assume. I think there’s space bugs lol but no one believes me. Only those who look at the light through the infrared.
