Overproducing equipment for Knowledge Points is a good strategy, but it is important to maximize the value by focus-crafting each item (lining up all the required Bone Spears in one go, for example) in turn until you get the associated point, then ceasing production entirely if the item is or will soon be obsolete. That ensures minimal waste of resources and labor. This makes having a dedicated "Points Crafter, " separate from your regular maintenance production, a useful investment. It also means you will have plenty of trade goods to sell, hopefully while they're worth something. =^[.]^=
