So yes, It's not me going mad nor my rig being faulty, 2020 actually looks better and with better performance apart from very minor differences like runway textures

Everywhere I've tested 2020 represents reality with greater accuracy. 2024 just spams trees everywhere and has updated runway textures. Disappointed

The most frustrating thing is that they oversold this game, they made it seem like the fs2024 map was going to be groundbreaking. I didn’t think it would be worse! I’m just blown away it felt like a punch to the gut I guess it’s best to keep low expectations.

I didn't think it possible, but the trees are even bigger and more pronounced in 2024. Unrealistic!!! Also, seems like ASOBO added a blue filter.

I can see absolutely tons more ground detail in the satellite imagery on 2020.

I dont say that with glee or to piss all over wanted 2024 to be the best in show but it just isnt.

Something has clearly gone wrong here, and no amount of tree spec tech can cover it up im afraid.

FS2024 reminded me of FS 2004 by the way the trees look and the way they are arranged!!

I think the trees make it look more accurate and the biggest thing I notice is that it feels like you’re coming in higher based on the perspective of the runway. I always feel like I’m too low in 2020.

2024 was clearly made for XBox and the XBox users can have it. 2020 is better in every way on PC. Maybe that will change but prob 6 months away.

@Tropical Tech - what would be better to do is to compare both 2020 and 2024 separately with the real flight approach (or side window view approach). Now THAT would be an interesting comparison. Thanks for all these vids by the way as they are very informative to us fans who are looking for developers to strive towards accuracy.

The trees look very out of place in built up areas, but good where there are no buildings.
