Thank you for your video. I purchased the Sonos ARC and 3rd gen Sub but only added and setup the soundbar with the idea of possibly returning the Sub. I listened to so many videos and no one really answered the question of do I need a sub with the ARC. Thank you for answering so directly. I added the sub and love it!

I have the Beam Gen 1 and rear Symfonisk as surrounds for my LG OLEC 55C1. I was very happy with the sound and had zero complaints. Saved up for the sub and added the Gen 3 about a year later and WOW! It was like a totally different system with the added sub. The mids/highs/dialogue came in louder, criper, and cleaner from the Beam/surrounds and the bass was felt in my chest. I recently upgraded my rear Symfonisk to One SLs at X-mas (way before I knew the Era 100 release date). I really didn't hear a difference between the them in surround sound duties. The One SLs look better and have a smaller footprint for easier placement. Thinking about upgrading the Beam Gen 1 to the Gen 2 Beam and moving the old Beam to a spare bedroom with the spare Symfonisk speakers.
