Why Malcolm X Had a Falling Out with the Nation of Islam

He fell out with them because of the leadership. No man is above God in Malcolm X's eyes. Elijah Mohammed was no longer "honourable". Malcolm X was a true Muslim, with no hate in his heart for anyone. He had real love for his own people. THAT'S what got him killed.

I'm 39 years old and growing up we were led to believe that Malcolm X was a bigot and terrorist. Basically, a villain when he was, in fact, a hero. That is how dangerous misinformation is. It makes me wonder now about the people we were led to believe were our heroes.
