When I was young growing up in Brooklyn New York without a father, a elderly neighbor saw I was heading in the wrong direction. Pulled me aside, talked to me, and gave me a book to read. “The Autobiography Of Malcolm X”. After reading this book several times and eventually other books on Malcolm X, I literally became him. My whole life change to this day. I even changed my name years ago to Malcolm in honoring him for helping me become a man. So when many asked me how I became the strong black man I am today, my answer is always, “A dead man raised me…. Malcolm X”. I love you Malcolm X. Much Love to you my Brother.
