No jerks becaus you're not one so...mostly birds of a feather here. Found your channel happenstance listening to music and interviews on here. Then eventually found your Saturday morning videos which have become a regular routine with my morning coffee. For whatever reasons your videos put me in a good place to set the tone for the morning and the day ahead. You kind of remind me not to be an asshole. Seriously. I'm not one by nature but in today's world there seems to be a lot more abrasive folks than I remember growing up as a kid and even a young adult. I guess turning 50 last June has had me looking at things in life much differently. I place high value on love, respect honor, compassion and empathy. Always have but probably more as I'm entering the autumn of my life. And I think you, Otis value those things as well and that's why you have the following you have. A breath of fresh air sounds too cliche so I'll just say I appreciate you for being real, relateble and genuinely being a good guy (its obvious that you are). That's the vibe I pick up on Saturday mornings and in your interviews and conversations. So i just want to say thank you for creating a positive, interesting, informative, relatable space. I found your channel during the pandemic. My wife and I had a very small business that depended on the general public’s ability to buy goods. That meant that we had to shut down for months. We never made a lot of money but it paid the bills. Shutting down was scary. We’ve never had much in the way of savings so it was a little dark not knowing how long the shutdown would last. Your channel was like a lifeline. You exude honesty and kindness. You don’t seem to have the usual agenda of constantly trying to sell something. You find great people to interview that have such great stories. I support mainly two people on Patreon . You and Andrew Hickey. If I had a hundred bucks to donate I surely would. Your work is that important to me. I am proud to be part of your garden of fans and I hope your garden continues to grow. You are sorely needed in these times when the truth is under attack. When we on a personal level, send out kindness and honesty, we are rewarded by the same. You deserve to be rewarded .

I almost always enjoyed interviews. Like you, I made my living as an entertainer. My market was small but lucrative. It was a team effort with my dear wife and, when she unexpectedly passed away less than two years ago, my heart just was no longer in it. 70 is a good retirement age, anyway. But despite the loads of interviews I did, I think I would be lousy at interviewing others. You seem to have a knack for it. You manage to pull some good stories out of people. I've been watching this channel for only a few months, but I'm really enjoying it. Cheers! -MJ
