Pretty sad the Latest Helix Gen4 will not work with the Mega Live 2. I think a lot of people will switch to the Garmin Livescope.

But after finding out I needed to upgrade my screen I didn't want to be a test pilot. So I went garmin standalone system. Keep hb for everything else.

I was looking at humming bird sonar this summer but wasn't too sure ended up buying a echomap because it was on a nice discount and im glad i did... Just purchased lvs34 and cant wait to go ice phishing this winter !

Im so glad i got a Solix at the beginning of this year instead of a Helix.
I dont use live scope but ALOT of people are getting ripped off BAD.

When I bought my boat, Humminbird was cheaper, so after being with Lowrance, I made the switch. Now that my Helix units are not compatible, if I am going to buy a new unit with a live unit, I will be going back to Lowrance since I have to buy both.

This to me just looks like the lvs34 but people have to realize that in these advertisements they go to the cleanest/clearest lakes around to get the best possible imaging I bet in real life this won’t beat the lvs34.

This stuff is way to expensive after their scam announcement. You can get cheaper and much better Setups with LS34 than having to upgrade to new Screen units and buying MGL2. Price should be reduced from my local Distributors at least by 20%
