Sonar frequency is usually measured in kilohertz (kHz) but now that Humminbird is using a frequency of over 1000 kHz they have entered the MHz range (1000kHz = 1MHz). The MEGA imaging sonar works at 1.150 - 1.275 MHz and offers high detail short range Side Imaging sonar.

Can you do a video on the Helix 7 chirp side imaging to show the detail that is available with the smaller units that are chirp but not mega. The local dealers don't have them on display, just the mega imaging units. thank you.
