Sounds perfect. I asked a Facebook group a question last week about an app based sonar. I am guessing at about $599 as a price point. Which goes for about £456.

Technology is moving faster while we have to fish slower to catch quality fish.
Apple is the way to go when dealing with business applications.
The overheating issue happens alot with tech items in the outdoors.
The Cannon EOS R5 camera kept overheating. Photographers had to put fans to cool it down. The camera body listed at $2500.
Newer version with the issues fixed listed at $4200 really! ( lens not included)
With the new 2025 FFS rules of most of the leagues, I think alot of the anglers will go with an improved side scan or 360 and a motor.
I would be thrilled with a set of pedals and a Garmin side scan.

Couple of things...
The lvs 32 will in fact do perspective mode and it cost 999 (including black box)
you can use it with a echomap uhd 73 sv for cheap for 400 or so bucks or 600 bucks if you opt for the 93sv (find the units that include the gt54 ducer).
A diy pole is cheap, 50 bucks or so.
17 bucks for a finder mount.
So livescope isnt that expensive and its designed for around water use and doessnt overheat.

Their choice to use apple was very stupid!

I can tell you first hand two issue right away, 1. Sun and heat, in Florida my iPhone overheats in the sun pretty fast and the screen dims as well. 2. Battery life, if you use a phone or a tablet the screen will have to be really bright and that eats battery life pretty quick. and another note, I feel a screen needs to be a minimum 12", 9 and 10" screen are just too small. There's no free lunch guys, there's a reason Garmins are expensive.

I'd be shocked if this was even close to the same performance quality

I read somewhere else that an Android version will be available mid 2025.

Of course only on an apple wha6 about Android??

Let me guess. It’s an underwater drone with a camera that you can attach a lure to and go down and literally attach the lure to the fish’s mouth. Am I close? Because that’s pretty much the next step beyond livescope.

Using your phone is absolute garbage, we already had phone based sonar units and they absolutely shred your battery levels.

Hey wendell if Accuphy is the better bet in the forward looking electronics to rival the Livescope and 360 fish finding technology is it R & D that has there product unavailable ? With the desire to save money on my fishing equipment it would be nice to have their website to see what is coming soon to the market. Do you have any further updates or information .

Livescope units can be had relatively cheap if you’re willing to buy secondhand. I completely rigged my kayak with a 9” and LVS32 for $2000

I’ve been keeping up on these units still going to be pretty pricey. They’re gonna be in the $500 to $700 range but as you stated you still have to get an iPad/ phone if you don’t have one and some sort of mounting and protection so you’re still back up in, the normal range for a FFS unit, but it is nice as you stated you could have it on your phone and walk around with it.

Accuphy – Panoptix is the Chinese 'live scope" for iPad. Their website claims sold out. may be true as I'd certainly buy one but I'm wondering if they aren't under attack by the big fish-finder companies OR being bought out by them to keep it off the market.

Do they know when it will be available yet?

I think if you want to live scope, I guess just go with Garmin traditional stuff. I'm not interested in ffs really

No way an Ipad/phone would work in that environment. Water/Sun/heat, and did we mention glare? If they were smart they would develop their own Monitor/processor/lithium battery that is designed to do the job. As is it will be a complete failure.
