I'm a much better sprinter than long-distance runner. In elementary school, I always won the 50yrd and the one I choose to sit out on was the distance one. I love all the fast movement for voice, too. It feels great and like I could do it endlessly with very little effort.

Luv’d this! Improv & making up melodies has literally weaved in and out of my whole singing career 😂…& because I’ve sung a lot of Jazz and you’re expected to change up Melodies I now do it easily…but it is something you choose to learn and especially ‘listening’ deep to heaps of singers makes it achievable. Also, luv you both talking about vocal textures. Definitely makes a performance less boring and more real. When I express this way I feel it more and the audience feels it. Again really loved this convo…👊🏻💯❤️

My theory is the reason my voice is ugly is because my mouth is small and my teeth are crooked. The sound bounces off of too many odd angles instead of resonating in a smooth cavity.
