“Jesse, I never had cancer. I just knew I had to try something REALLY unconventional to teach you chemistry. You passed, Jesse. Here’s your diploma.”

This was undisputedly the saddest moment in television history because it's at this moment you realize you will never watch anything this perfect again

The symbolism of him dying from a bullet from his own gun. It was all one big self inflicted wound.

And immediately Hal wakes up from a nightmare and tells Lois about such a scary dream.

He was proud of Jesse when he checked the gauges and dials, he taught him well. And the gas mask was a beautiful callback to the first episode

The moment you realize none of this would’ve happened, if the guy working for Tuco kept his mouth shut and didn’t say “Just remember who you working for”

The look of forgiveness on Jesse's face before he takes off just made me well up inside. After everything, Walt was still able to communicate to Jesse just how important he was to him and Jesse saw that. What a great combination of writing and acting from all involved.

"Skyler, all I did..."
"Don't you say it..."
"I did it for me. I was good at it. I liked it."
Those words were burned into my brain while I watched this scene. He put everything he was good at into this last scheme.

I feel like “baby blue” also symbolizes how Walt felt about meth, at the end it was not about money business anymore for him, it was about him being the king of meth, about having the recognition that the one and only Heisenberg was the one that came up with that pure meth. The way that he succeed at the end, getting revenge for Hank, providing money for his family, not only saving Jesse but knowing that he succeeded as a chemist and a teacher for Jesse, since Jesse was making pure meth. And most importantly how he got rid of his enemies at the end, including Lydia. He even defeated cancer at the end, since cancer didn’t get to kill him but his own bullet did. He died knowing that he succeeded.

Dying is one thing. But knowing you’re in your final minutes of life is a whole other thing I imagine. and I thought that Walt would be sitting there regretting what he did and what it did to his family. But he was smiling. He truly was alive when he was in the lab

When I watched this scene I thought he was gonna finally try the meth, to see what the fuss was all about, but this is much cooler

This scene. This show. This masterpiece. That’s all I felt at the end of this scene. I just went “Wow. That’s how it ends. That’s how this show ends.” And when the credits finished I realized I had witnessed not only a great show, I witnessed a masterpiece of storytelling that I had the privilege of watching. Sad it ended, but glad in a sense. Didn’t overstay it’s welcome and drag on unnecessarily. Vince had a plan with this show from the beginning and he saw it through. No matter what. Better Call Saul, here I come!

I have to say as a grown ass man, the tears came when they played Bad Fingers song "Baby Blue" at the end. That band suffered tremendous tragedy, and so it just fit so well....props to Gilligan and crew, have yet to watch another series that even comes close.

At first when I saw Walt and Jesse's final goodbye, I was disappointed that they didn't say anything. But I quickly realized it was absolutely perfect. Nothing can really be said that sums up their last two years together. They just look at each other as if to say, "it's been a helluva run." There's more said in that last look than any words could describe. Just perfect.

I like to think Vince Gilligan was riding in an RV one day and baby blue by bad finger came on and he just built a show around it…

I binged this series after my son insisted. I loved Walt and was annoyed by Jesse who screwed up many times. At the end, I hated Walt and loved Jesse. This is good television, creativity, story telling, emotions. This was an amazing series!!

Even my mom, who is pretty religious and dislikes Walt's action, cried in this scene. This show has such a amazing writing that even if you don't like Walt, this scene can make you cry.

10/10, there will never be another show or even a ending like this. And the song choice is literally perfect.
