You can use your sourdough starter for so many recipes. Instead of throwing away your starter waste, the simplest and easiest one is to make pancakes. Pancakes from sourdough become so soft, bubbly, and delicious.
What you will need:
- Fed sourdough starter OR sourdough waste (200 gr)
- 1 egg
- 150 ml milk (room temperature)
- Salt (half a teaspoon)
- Honey (optional)
- Baking soda (half a teaspoon)
- Baking powder (half a teaspoon)

This recipe is for 12 pancakes and it was enough for 3 people.

Thanks for sharing such with such detail! Curious, this was posted in July and would you have an idea on the temp in your home? I started my sourdough last week and it's Dec in Nashville, TN so on the cold side. Not getting much growth in my starter. Have some bubbles but not much more than that. Thank you again for sharing!
