Find the angle of elevation when given the length of a shadow

👉 Learn how to solve the word problems with trigonometry. Okay so, what up with the 124mi.shadow of the solar eclipse of 2017 and the coming shadow of April 8 2024? I've always thought that when something blocks a light source the shadow flares out and all experiments I've done back this up.which would mean the sun and moon are ridiculously close.So much of geo science is making less and less sense.And no mater how I try I can't make water bent around a ball. Or even bend it without 2 equally strong containment forces in a closed environment. Goodness it's like everything I wast taught in school about our earth and space was a big fib.whats your thoughts on this.
