ceramic will crack when the temperature is hot and then doused with water. the danger can be broken in the machine.not recommended

Spark plugs are so cheap... you're more likely to crack the ceramic holding it with pliers, which would make it useless.

You can clean it for about 3.99$ at ur local auto parts store
