Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous improves upon its predecessor in enough meaningful ways that fans of that previous game should be more than happy with it.

Honestly I wish this person would not focus so much on graphics. Focus on the rpg aspect. Like can we really lead an army of undead. Does the player chose matter. Does it effect how your character lead the army and change the world.

Disagree the music and audio. Just the main menu theme alone blows 99% of games out of the water.

Both kingmaker and this one are masterpieces of storytelling. Best party companions ever. REGILL.

I found that playing Pathfinder Kingmaker I went in with an attitude of this can't be that bad I've played Dark Souls, Dos2, all the big titles. But damn I had to do some reading, the more time I put into learning the systems at play the more I got back out of the game in terms of enjoyment. And Kingmaker became one of my all time favorites.

Great and deep game! Graphics are awesome in this new version, tho it's not the most important here. It's also good to notice they avoided manicheism in their characters, most have a good and a bad side to discover in the story.

IMO you're wrong about the graphics. To me, they look very impressive - particularly the beautiful particle FX and lighting. Sure, the in-game character models are a tad basic, but the overall environments look very good and really conjure the atmospheric ambience of a true fantasy dungeon crawler. The music is suitably bombastic and overwrought at times, but I put this down to the game playing to its genre expectations. As someone who is constantly bamboozled by the systems of a complex RGP like this, I really like the whole package, and I get the sense the game wants to help me learn what it has to offer - but it's up to me. There are options to bypass a great deal of the technicalities and just play the story. That gets a massive thumbs-up from me. In playing - and, more importantly, being able to play - one gets to slowly understand and appreciate the hidden depths of the underlying gameplay.

Disagree on the music. I thought the score that plays after a large victory was quite bombastic and stands out in the gene.

Spent way too much time harping on the graphics. This reviewer obviously doesn’t play crpgs much.

next time get someone who understands the game its a crpg and he literally said nothing about the crpg elements :)

My question, how the companions interact between each other throughout game ? Like Dragon Age origin or BG3. The kingmaker was woefully lack that.

You lost me with the "not thinking outside the box" when it aims to be a 1to1 of the boardgame in digital form.
Also, you posted this on the 2nd and you call it a "Final Verdict"? Chapter 5? BUGS? Playability?

No mention about leading armies, rushed review and/or skipped lots of the game

Complains about graphics too much, earned my downvote

Ummm...that assessment of the music was SO out of wack, did you even play/listen to this??

Can you switch off all of that floating crapolla of floating numbers and combat texts? How am I supposed to sink in the story since all I can see is spreadsheets and fourth wall text floating around like crazy? So immersion-breaking. BGI & II was is still so much better at keeping a more coherent and beliveable world.

I noticed that horse keeps dying, so I know who not to carry in my party. The graphics are beautiful, it's a crpg.

I don't understand how anyone would give this an 8. For its genre and what it tries to accomplice it is an easy 9+

So you can have a horse as a party member?🤔😆
