We have free will to live and do as we please. But with consequences. The Bhagaved gita and the vedas are the manual instructions on how we should live our lives because as human beings we are are all governed by the law of karma. It doesn't matter who you are in society we are all subjected to the law of karma. But by becoming self realized and not affected by the dualities of life we are no longer caught up in the maya of the world and although we live in the world we are not affected by it and no longer affected by the laws of karma. Jai shri Krishna Jai shri Ram. This is a most important, informative discourse.

Thank you for this.
Question: What if I prefer being a dog than a human?
And
If Krishna is so great and we are beneath him, why does he require attention from me? I'm fine minding my own business. Why should I be giving attention and live according to someone I haven't even met?
About food, why am I given taste buds to enjoy food and then I'll be banished to hell for enjoying a pizza?
Some statements feel contradictory to me.
Thank you for the explanation anyways.
