In a normal religion you can't question it's ethos and works, in Hinduism you can even question a god about his existence.

Krishna's expression is spot on. So chill, so confident and so friendly. I would love a T-shirt with his drawing on.

There is a famous saying "In your life strive to find two kinds of friends, Krishna, who will not lift a weapon but will still make sure that you will win and Karna who will know you will loose but will still fight beside you."

Kauruvas: I have an army
Pandavas: We have a Krishna

I was a classics minor and took a year of Sanskrit in undergrad. We read portions of the Gita in its original language. The "destroyer of worlds " line is better translated (and more badass, IMO) as:
"I am the Ruin of Eternity, the World-Devourer."

I've always been interested in all mythologies; but Indian mythology always has the grandest, most glorious, most uplifting moustaches.

This episode made me feel better. I was having a crippling anxiety episode just now, and hearing this story just... made me feel like there was nothing to be anxious about. Very nice. Thank you EC.

Indian mythology is undoubtedly the grandest of available lore we have available to us.

One error I would like to mention. Arjun is famed for his skills in Archery, not swordsmanship.

And Arjuna told Krishna "Knees weak, arms are heavy-"

As a writer, I’ve always wrote stories involving Greek Mythology (because they’re the most used in modern day stories). This did give me inspiration to write my own story and use Indian Gods. It’s always fascinating to learn about more Gods from different places!

If H. P. Lovecraft ever bothered to go to India, he’d have an aneurysm.

4:46 so krishna showed him all the higher dimensions. Where time is no longer linear. Space can be contorted. That's why he gave him those divine eyes pr sense that can perceive those 4th, 5th, 10 dimensions. He could see all the deaths and births beforehand as time was no longer flowing in one direction only
