The Greyhound I had was quite the character. We adopted her just after her 3rd birthday and had finished her racing. She was a real sweetheart. She was my best friend and companion and literally took care of me as I am disabled.

My retired racer is the sweetest girl. So gentle and sensitive and loving. Towards the end of my grandma's life she hated whenever my dad or my aunt's would bring their dogs over to her house but she absolutely adored my greyhound.

My greyhound has learnt to just stand there when she doesn’t want to walk a direction, usually towards home, and yes she will stand there for like 10 mins…. Just staring at me!! Like she is use psychic willpower to make me not go that way.

Don’t use a retractable leash with greyhounds! Some have gotten away from their owner, ran and the leash sound scared them… they ended up getting hit.
Always use a martingale collar and knot the leash around your wrist!!!

I remember I was servicing a house, and there was a greyhound looking at me. I got in my truck and drove a mile to my next destination. When I opened the door, the greyhound was there, at my door, staring at me. He was took you so long?
